Instructions

  1. Cut the book pages into squares.  Attach the paper squares to the wood banner blanks with Mod Podge Matte.  Apply a little Mod Podge to the back of the paper, position onto the center of the hurricane and top-coat with more Mod Podge.  Continue adding more paper squares until the each banner bank is covered.
  2. Paint 2 banner pieces with Sheer Aqua Mod Podge and 2 banner pieces with Sheer Green Mod Podge. Allow to dry.
  3. Squeeze a small amount of Collage Clay onto the Mod Podge Craft Mat, dip a damp sea sponge onto the Collage Clay and tap over each banner piece.  This will make a feathered snow look.
  4. Attach the star tip to the Collage Clay bag.  Apply the Collage Clay to the base  and top of each banner piece. Sprinkle white glitter over the Collage Clay.
  5. Paint the wood letters with Metallic Antique Copper paint. (two coats) Top-coat with Extreme Glitter Silver. Once dry, add a dollop of Collage Clay to the letters and embed a snowflake rhinestone to the letter by pressing it into the Collage Clay.
  6. Hot glue the letters to the center of the banner pieces.  String the yarn through the holes on the banner pieces.

PROJECT TIP: A damp sea sponge is perfect for getting a feathered look with Collage Clay.
