Other Supplies

Large lavender crate

  • Matching Color Yarn- Thick
  • Hot Glue
  • Scissors
  • Artminds Large Wood Crates
Medium "Love" crate
  • Yarn in assorted colors
  • Stencil tape
  • Hot Glue
  • Scissors
  • Artminds Medium Wood Crates
 

Instructions

Large lavender crate

  1. Basecoat outside of crate with Chalk Paint and let dry.
  2. Stencil floral design onto edge of crate as shown in photo.
  3. Cut yarn into long strip.  Glue the end of yarn to the bottom of the crate and begin threading through the wood slats as shown in photo. 
  4. Thread until you have the desired pattern.
Medium "Love" crate
  1. Tape off crate as shown, paint the end with Navy and the flat side with Navy.  Let dry.
  2. Using Wicker White and Stencil add word to end of crate as shown.  Let dry.
  3. Glue the end of the first yarn color to the bottom of the crate and begin threading through the wood slats as shown in photo. 
  4. Thread until you have a thick section of the first color and repeat with the other colors as shown.
  5. Make 3 Pom poms with yarn and attach as shown.
