Ruler
Small screwdriver

Remove hardware from the backs of all houses. Basecoat the backs of all houses with Plaster. Paint the roof of houses with Ink. Allow to dry.
Tape off plaid vertical and horizonal at the same time. Space tape 3/4" apart. There should only be squares open to paint. Use the stencil brush to paint squares Elephant. Remove tape.
Water down the Elephant to make a wash. Use one of flat brushes from the variety pack and connect the square by painting a 3/4" line in between each square.
Tape off a 2" border on the large houses and a 1" border on the smaller houses. Paint inside border with Plaster. Allow to dry.
Tape off around the white centers a 1/8" borders in Ink.
Stencil the F, A, L and L in Peacock.

Can Waverly Inspirations Chalk colors be mixed to create new colors or different values of the same color?

Yes, you can create custom colors by mixing any number of the Waverly Inspirations Chalk paints together.

Start with the lightest color, adding in darker shades until desired color is achieved.

Do I need to prep my surface before applying Waverly Inspirations Chalk?

The benefit of painting with Waverly Inspirations Chalk is that no prep work such as sanding, stripping or priming is needed.

When painting on previously used furniture, simply clean the surface using a glass cleaner to remove dirt or dust particles. When painting on glass surfaces, make sure to clean surface using rubbing alcohol.

Do I shake or stir Waverly Inspirations Chalk before using?

Stir well to incorporate the paint. Use straight from the bottle or pour a small amount onto a palette.
