Buffalo Plaid Side Table

Other Supplies

• 1” Flat brush
• ½” Stencil brush
• #1 Liner brush
• 1” Tape
• Repurposed side table
• Water basin
• Paper plates
• Paper towels

Instructions

1. Basecoat top of table red, drawer front red and grey, sides black, legs white, and base navy.
2. Tape off stripes the width of the tape going in one direction on table top. Using a very dry stencil brush lightly apply black between tape. Remove tape and repeat process in opposite direction creating buffalo plaid.
3. Repeat same process on drawer fronts for buffalo plaid.
4. Paint edge of table top grey and paint white squares along edge as shown.
5. Using liner brush, apply white stripes on drawer front over the grey. Use same liner brush to paint flower and vine design on sides of front.
6. Dry brush white over the navy base to create a linen appearance.
7. Paint remaining trim as shown.
