Paint your child's hand for stamping. Don't worry all the paints are non-toxic. Paint the center of the palm Skintone, The fingers and upper-palm and thumb with Titanium White (only paint the thumb print area not the joint area.) Paint the wrist and joint area of the thumb with Lipstick Red. Press onto the paper. Hold firmly and press to make a good impression. Wash your hands!

Using the same paint fill-in any areas where needed. Paint checks on Santa using Baby Pink. Add a nose using Lipstick Red. Paint eyes and a moustache using Titanium White and Pure Black. Allow to dry.

Color copy the painted handprint using a copier at a local shop. Some inkjet printers will work but most will not and the ink will be bleed. For best results using a laser copier. Cut out the handprint.

Clean the glass plate and wipe with rubbing alcohol. Turn the plate upside down. You will be working on the bottom of the plate. Apply Mod Podge (dishwasher safe) to the top of the copied handprint. Place the handprint in the center of the plate. Remember you are working on the flipped over plate. Top-coat with more Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge.

Cut the tissue paper into small squares. Still working on the backside of the plate. Mod Podge 3 layers of the tissue paper squares. Allow for 1 hour dry time in between layers. Top-coat with a final layer of Mod Podge.
PROJECT TIP: Add a year or name to your plate by "painting in reverse" with FolkArt Multi-surface paints before the Mod Podge steps.
