Other Supplies

  • Short sleeve v-neck t-shirt
  • Paper plate
  • Water basin

Instructions

  1. Peel off Skull stencil backing and stick on shirt.
  2. Squeeze a small amount of Twilight on a paper plate. Dip the corner edge of the sponge applicator into the paint and tap on the paper plate to offload some of the paint. You want the sponge fairly dry.
  3. Pounce gently over the open areas of the skull. Be careful not to go off the edges of the stencil.
  4. Remove the stencil and place back on to stencil backing sheet.
  5. Peel and stick the word “creepy cutie” underneath the skull. Leave space for letters that will repeat.
  6. Using the round brush, dip into the paint and tap on the paper plate to offload some of the paint. Again, you want the paint brush fairly dry.
  7. Pounce gently over the open areas of the letters.
  8. Remove the stencils and place back on to stencil backing sheet.
  9. Paint the bottom half of the t-shirt in Twilight using the large flat brush. Start with solid coverage and ombre fade out.
  10. Allow the painted fabric project to dry 72 hours, and turn shirt inside out and press over area with hot iron to heat set to enhance the project's durability.
