DIY Farmhouse Holiday Ornaments

• Plaid fabric assortment
• Twine
• Styrofoam balls – 2½”, 4”
• Twine balls
• Flat wood discs
• Natural wood rounds
• Chunky house shaped wood
• Scissors
• 1/8” drill
• Water basin, Paper towels, Paper plates

Instructions

1. Apply Walnut wood tint to the flat wood discs. Let dry and stencil snowflakes from value pack with Cottage White.
2. Use wood burner to draw holiday themed images and sayings onto natural wood rounds.
3. Paint bottom half of twine balls with Cottage White.
4. Cut plaid fabric into strips and apply to Styrofoam balls using Matte Mod Podge. Apply a final coat to seal ornaments.
5. Apply Walnut wood tint to wood houses. Let dry. Dip bottoms of houses in Imperial Red, Black and Cottage White chalk paint.
6. Use drill to make holes in the tops of the wood rounds, flat discs and houses.
7. String all ornaments with twine for hangers.
8. Attach twine bows, plaid fabric bows and wrap some ornaments with twine to finish.
