Instructions
FolkArt Glitterific can be applied in a light random fashion which will allow the background glass bottle color to show through, or it can be applied with multiple coats to achieve a dense glittery effect. If the desired effect is a light application, you should first remove the bottle labels; however, if a dense glitter effect is desired, you needn’t remove the bottle labels.
- Pour Blue Moon onto a palette and load a spouncer by dabbing into the Glitterific puddle.
- Next, dab or spounce the Blue Moon onto the champagne bottle.
- Tip: It is best to dab a light application first and allow to slightly set up. This will provide “tooth” for subsequent layers of Glitterific to grab on to. Continue adding layers by dabbing Blue Moon on until the desired glitter-filled effect is achieved. Allow to dry a couple hours.
Note: Surfaces painted with FolkArt Glitterific are not washable, so your completed project should be used for decorative purposes only.
