DIY Magazine Bouquet

This Mother's Day, make mom a beautiful flower bouquet that will never wilt with this handmade magazine flower pot design. Use Mod Podge to piece together colorful magazine pieces to create a faux bundle of flowers.

Other Supplies

  • Craft Sticks
  • 16 oz. To-Go Container
  • Magazine
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Styrofoam/Sponge
  • Hot Glue
  • Tissue Paper

Instructions

  1. Cut different sized and shaped flowers from your magazine pages. Layer the flower shapes on top of each other with Mod Podge and let dry.
  2. Paint your to-go container with Pink Parfait and let dry.
  3. Glue your craft sticks on top of each other to create different heights among your flowers.
  4. Paint your craft sticks with Spring Green, Limeade, and Caterpillar. Let dry,
  5. Use Mod Podge to adhere your flowers on the end of your craft sticks.
  6. Cut slits into your sponge/Styrofoam to place your craft sticks in. Place your sponge/Styrofoam in your to-go container.
  7. Fold your tissue paper in an accordion style and then cut it into strips. This will act as your grass.
  8. Place your grass in your container.
