• High heels
• Rubbing alcohol
• 2-6 mm EVA Foam
• Super glue
• Paper towels
• Scissors or craft knife 

Instructions

1. Before you paint, remove the clear protective coating that is on your shoes. For this, use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. Once the rubbing alcohol no longer appears damp or shiny you are ready to paint your shoes.  
2. For this project use a 1:1 ratio of Leather Studio Amethyst mixed with FolkArt Color Shift Purple Flash. 
3. Apply a few thin layers with a Flat #10 paint brush. It is important to try to reduce brush strokes as much as possible for this step. A good tip is to lightly damp your brush in water to smooth out any places where the paint is raised. Let dry 
4. Paint the toes and heel with FolkArt Glitterific Princess. 
5. Once dry, add a black border around the sections to block them off using Leather Studios Black and a Liner 1 paint brush. 
6. Paint a spider web design around the heel. Start with quarter sections with a straight line, then add your rounded sections accordingly. 
7. Once finished, you can add any fun words that you like. With a Liner 1 paint brush, add your words to each shoe. Be mindful of where your foam belt straps are going to go. Allow to dry. You can go back over the letters/spider web with FolkArt Glitterific in Gold to add a fun pop of color.  
8. For the belt buckle use 6mm EVA Foam. Using the pattern, trace a buckle design and two long strips with angles at the edges to act as the belt, then cut out the design.
9. Use the super glue to attach the buckle detail to the belt in the center of the design.
10. Prime your foam using 2-3 layers of Mod Podge Matte with a Flat 3/4" paint brush. 
11. Base coat all your EVA Foam pieces using Apple Barrel Gloss White. 
12. Paint the belt section with Apple Barrel Gloss Pumpkin Orange and buckle with Golden Yellow. After applying a few layers, allow everything to dry. 
13. Use Folk Art Glitterific in Gold on top of the yellow buckles for some extra shine. 
14. Seal your paint job with Mod Podge Gloss. Once your final layer is fully dry you can attach your buckle to the shoe base using super glue.
