Instructions

  1. Using a drill or an awl, make holes in either end of 12 faux eggs.
  2. Using a small flat brush, basecoat 2 eggs with Ivory, 2 with Ballet Slipper, 2 with ocean, 2 with Mineral, 2 with Pool, and 2 with Moss. Let dry.
  3. Tear 12 one-inch strips of Waverly fabric.
  4. On six (6) of the painted eggs, Mod Podge a strip of fabric around the middle of the egg. See project photo for reference.
  5. Cut a piece of twin long enough the string all of the eggs. On one end of the twine, tie three (3) strips of fabric at the center, creating a tassel. String a wooden bead onto the twine, then an egg, then a wooden bead, and so on until all of the eggs have been strung. Tie three (3) more strips of fabric on the other end of the twine in the same way, creating another tassel.
