  • Coordinating Scrapbook Paper

instructions

  1. Trace half of the frame onto the back of the scrapbook paper and cut out.
  2. Decoupage the paper to the bottom half of the frame.  Allow it to dry.
  3. Tape off the bottom lefthand corner of the frame and paint it with Treasure Gold.  Refer to the photo for placement.
  4. Paint a Treasure Gold flower in the center of the righthand side of the frame.  Paint small Ocean View dots in the center of the flower using the end of the paintbrush.
  5. Paint Clover green leaves.  Refer to photo for placement.
  6. Outline the leaves and the petals of the flower with Wicker White using the liner brush.
  7. Cut fabric to fit into the hoop and attach the hoop to the back of the frame.

Cool colors are all the colors on the Green and Blue side of the color wheel. Yellow, Yellow/Green, Green, Blue/Green, Blue, Blue/Purple, Purple are all cool colors. All colors on the color wheel can be both warm and cool except Orange.
Transparent colors are thinned with medium or water to create a wash or a glaze of color that you can see through to the underlying surface.
