FolkArt Farmhouse Floral Pumpkins

1. Basecoat all pumpkins with Black and let dry.
2. For rest of project use dry brush strokes (very little paint and no water) so you never completely cover the black basecoat.  A touch of white to all colors for highlights and texture.
3. Large Pumpkin- with pencil apply patterns if that is more comfortable.  Paint large circles with loose strokes using white and wheat.  Repeat around pumpkin. Paint daisy centers with Barcelona Beige and a touch of white.  Add petals with mustard and white as shown.  Add leaves as shown with green and a bit of white. Layer more strokes as needed to create desired look.  Fill in background last with cascade and white. Apply random loose strokes to create the distressed background.
4. Medium Pumpkin- repeat techniques listed above with cascade flowers and a White and Wheat background.
5. Small Pumpkin- Paint small white leaves and stems and create background with Mustard.
