Create a faux moss effect on a planter using FolkArt Painted Finishes.

FolkArt ® Painted Finishes - Dark Moss, 4 oz. #5105, FolkArt ® Painted Finishes - Brush Set, 3 pc. #5080, Planter, Hair dryer, Plastic knife, Styrofoam bowl, Spray water bottle

Instructions

Use brush to dab on Light Moss randomly on planter surface.
Use brush to dab on Dark Moss on top of Light Moss. Spritz with water to blend and create runs of color. Continue until desired look is achieved.
Place a small amount of Light Moss in Styrofoam bowl and the same amount of Dark Moss in another bowl. Use a hair dryer to evaporate some of the moisture. Use a plastic knife to scoop out the thickened moss paint and press in place where you might want added texture.
