Other Supplies

  • Loose canvas
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Using an angled brush, paint 2 wooden dowels using Green. Let dry and apply a second coat, if necessary. Let dry.
  2. Using the same brush and Green, paint the letters “H,” “E,” “L,” “L,” and “O.” Let dry and apply a second coat, if necessary.
  3. Using scissors, cut a piece of loose canvas to approximately 12” in width and 10” in height. Use a larger brush to paint the top half of the fabric with White and the bottom half of the fabric with Bright Yellow. Before cleaning your brush blend the two colors in the middle using a sweeping side to side motion. Add water to help smooth out the colors. Let dry.
  4. Fold the left and right edges of the fabric under and use hot glue to make a seam.
  5. Hot glue the top and bottom edges over the 2 dowels to create a “scroll.”
  6. Use hot glue to adhere “HELLO” to the front of the banner.
