Let's Paint Live Floral Pumpkin

Add your favorite fall florals to your pumpkins with this stunning no-carve option. These flowers are easy to paint and fun to display on your porch this fall.

instructions

  1. Basecoat your pumpkin with Wicker White and let dry.
  2. On your palette paper, mix a 2:1 ratio of Pure Orange and Apple Red. Use this mixture to paint circles on your pumpkin.
  3. Add a touch of Wicker White to your paint mixture and paint a highlight on the top of your circles.
  4. Add a little bit more Apple Red to your original paint mixture and paint a lowlight ot the bottom of your circles and let dry.
  5. Mix a 3:1 ratio of Daffodil Yellow and Pure Orange on your palette paper. Use this mixture to paint more circles on your pumpkin.
  6. Add a touch of Wicker White to your mixture and paint a highlight on the top of your circles.
  7. Add a little bit more Pure Orange to your original paint mixture and paint a lowlight to the bottom of your circles and let dry.
  8. Paint more circles on your pumpkin with Baby Pink.
  9. Add a touch of Apple Red to your Baby Pink on your palette paper and use this mixture to paint a lowlight on your circles.
  10. Now add a touch of Wicker White to your Baby Pink and paint a highlight on the top of your circles.
  11. Mix a 2:1 ratio of Thicket and Aqua on your palette paper. Use this mixture to paint the leaves of your flowers and the stem of your pumpkin. Let dry.

Cool colors are all the colors on the Green and Blue side of the color wheel. Yellow, Yellow/Green, Green, Blue/Green, Blue, Blue/Purple, Purple are all cool colors. All colors on the color wheel can be both warm and cool except Orange.
