Patio lanterns with glass sides, Wood skewer, Egg carton
Instructions
- Group your paints by color: blues and purples together, greens together and yellows together.
- Place the lantern on its side so the glass pane is flat. For round lanterns, balance on an egg carton.
- Paint each pane a different variation of colors. Begin by squirting the Gallery Glass around the edge of the pane, fill in the pane with a second color. Mix the colors together with a skewer. Bounce the skewer “up and down” in the paint to get a rippled glass effect. Allow to dry for a few hours.
- Continue painting each pane until the entire lantern in painted.
Tips: Never shake Gallery Glass! If you do you might get an air bubble. If you get an air bubble, just pop it with the end of a sewing pin. If you make a mistake, wait for it to dry and just peel the mistake away.
