instructions

Mix Mod Podge Resin according to the instructions on the packaging.
Pour a small layer of Mod Podge Resin into the glass tray. Sprinkle some seashell chips on one side of the tray. See project photo for reference. Allow the resin to sit for 1 hour.
After an hour, the resin will have set slightly. Mix more Mod Podge Resin according to the instructions on the packaging and pour another thin layer into the tray.
Sprinkle more seashell chips into the resin.
Add gold flakes over the resin. Sprinkle more towards the side with seashells and sprinkle less going across the tray to create a faded effect. See the project photo for reference.
Allow the resin to sit for 1 hour.
After an hour, the resin will have set slightly. Mix more Mod Podge Resin according to the instructions on the packaging and pour another thin layer into the tray so that all of the seashells and gold flakes are submerged. Allow the resin to cure fully according to the instructions on the packaging.

Yes, Mod Podge Resin can be applied to a surface in layers. The second layer can be applied once the first layer has set. This could be one to two hours, depending upon the humidity level and temperature in the room.

Can I use a mold when working with Mod Podge Resin? And what types of molds work best?

Mod Podge Resin works best with all types of molds. Some molds like a silicone mold will not require a mold release agent, while other types of molds made of plastic polypropylene or polyethylene sheet plastic will require a mold release agent
