2 Ceramic Go Cups Delta Ceramcoat ® Select Multi-Surface Acrylic Paint - Satin - Butternut, 2 oz. #04012, Delta Ceramcoat ® Select Multi-Surface Acrylic Paint - Satin - North Sea, 2 oz. #04019, Delta Ceramcoat ® Select Multi-Surface Acrylic Paint - Satin - Chestnut, 2 oz. #04034, Assorted Brushes: No. 14 Flat brushes and 5/0 Script liner brushes, Palette Paper or foam plate, Paper towels, Brush basin or container for water, Tracing paper, Transfer paper, Stylus, Painters tape or stencil tape, Soft lint-free cloth, Rubbing alcohol

Preparation Instructions

1. Thoroughly wash the ceramic cups with soap and warm water.  Rinse well, and allow to dry.
2. Moisten paper towel or lint-free cloth with rubbing alcohol.  Thoroughly wipe cups to remove remaining dust, dirt, grease and soap film.
3. Trace pattern onto tracing paper.
4. Tape pattern to cups and neatly transfer the ornament patterns using transfer paper and a stylus. 

Painting Instructions

Turquoise Ornaments

1. Create a color mix of equal parts Seafoam and North Sea.
2. Apply one coat of this mixture to the turquoise ornaments using a No. 14 flat brush. 
3. Paint the ornament caps and strings Harvest Gold then allow your undercoated areas to thoroughly dry for several hours.
   • TIP:  If you do not allow adequate dry time, the undercoat may lift.
4. If needed, reapply undercoat until ornaments are opaque.
5. Using a No. 14 flat brush, float North Sea shadows across the bottom of all three ornaments.
6. Highlight the ornament center with a circular Seafoam float.
7. Neatly transfer all detail pattern lines on ornaments using transfer paper and a stylus.
8. Using a 5/0 script liner loaded with thinned White, paint over the detail snowflake pattern lines on each ornament.
9. Still using the 5/0 script liner, paint over the swirl pattern lines with Fire Red.
10. The third ornament is accented with Harvest Gold brush strokes using the No. 1 liner brush.
11. Float a Chestnut shadow across the bottom of the ornament caps.
12. Accent the top of the ornament caps with a mix of equal parts of White and Harvest Gold.

Red Ornaments

1. Apply one coat of Fire Red to all ornaments on the second cups.
2. Paint the ornament caps and strings Harvest Gold then allow your undercoated areas to thoroughly dry for several hours.
   • TIP:  If you do not allow adequate dry time, the undercoat may lift.
3. If needed, reapply undercoat until ornaments are opaque.
4. Using a No. 14 flat brush, float Barn Red shadows across the bottom of all three ornaments.
5. Highlight the ornament centers with a circular Tangelo float.
6. Neatly transfer all detail pattern lines on ornaments using transfer paper and a stylus.
7. Using a 5/0 script liner loaded with thinned White, paint over the detail snowflake pattern lines on each ornament.
8. Still using the 5/0 script liner, paint over the swirl pattern lines with Seafoam.
9. The third ornament is accented with Harvest Gold brush strokes using the No. 1 liner brush.
10. Float a Chestnut shadow across the bottom of the ornament caps.
