Painting Vines for Cosplay

1. Using a rotary tool, carve into an EVA Foam Dowel at an angle.
2. Create organic texture by adding multiple thin strokes.
3. Heat treat EVA Foam Dowels using a heat gun, do this by lightly hitting with air over foam surface.
4. Prime using 2-3 layers of PlaidFX Clear Primer.
5. Basecoat using a mixture of Smooth Satin Charred Root, Carbon, Green Empire, and Amber Sand.
6. Allow to dry and dry brush Smooth Satin Charred Root, Carbon with a tiny bit of Blizzard and Amber Sand.
7. Mix a lighter color using Smooth Satin Charred Root, Carbon, and Blizzard creating a cool light brwon color.
8. Dry brush this mixture onto the highest peaks of your EVA Foam Dowel.
9. Finish by applying a layer of Mod Podge Ultra in Matte to protect project and change finish for more realism.
10. Attach to nature inspired project with Super Glue.
