instructions

  1. Paint an area of your gift tag taping off the section you wouldn't like paint to get on. Let dry.
  2. Plug in the tool and allow it to heat up.
  3. Using a pencil, draw a pattern onto your wood surface. (Tip: You can find line art online and transfer it using graphite paper. You can also use your favorite stencils to create your design)
  4. Check that your tool is hot enough by touching the tip to a scrap piece of wood or by testing it on the bottom of your surface.
  5. Trace over the pencil lines slowly and steadily with the Wood Burning Tool.
  6. Make sure to turn off your tool once you are finished.
  7. Tie a desired ribbon to the top or to anything you are decorating.
