Instructions

Yellow Patchwork Jar

  1. Using alcohol and a cotton ball clean the glass.
  2. Stick your selected stencil to the glasses surface. For this project I started by placing the stencil on the top/center portion of the jar.
  3. Press firmly on the stencil to make sure there are no gaps between the stencil and the glass surface.
  4. Using your pouncers paint the glass through the stencil. From this project I used a combination of all four colors keeping the flower portion Yellow and the center Laguna but switching the borders between Country Grey (lighter gray) and Pewter Grey (darker gray).
  5. Before the paint totally dries, carefully remove the stencil.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 to complete the pattern as far around the jar as you’d like.
  • TIP: If this stencil becomes too messy or loses its stick rinse it under some cool water and let dry. Once dry it should be good as new and ready to continue using.
  • TIP: Any bleed-under or stray paint marks can be cleaned up with a razor blade.

Blue Patchwork Jar with Stripes

  1. Using alcohol and a cotton ball clean the glass.
  2. Stick your selected stencil to the glasses surface. For this project I started by placing the stencil on the upper center portion of the jar.
  3. Before applying paint to the stencil apply your masking tape for the stripes. For this project I used 5 strips of tape to create 3 lines. Two Pewter Grey stripes above and below the stencil and one Yellow stripe below the bottom grey line.
  4. Apply paint to the taped off areas to create your stripes.
  5. Before the paint totally dries, carefully remove the tape.
  6. Now that you have your stripes apply Laguna to the stencil.
  7. Before the paint totally dries, carefully remove the tape.
  8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 to complete the pattern as far around the jar as you’d like.
  • TIP: If this stencil becomes too messy or loses its stick rinse it under some cool water and let dry. Once dry it should be good as new and ready to continue using.
  • TIP: Any bleed-under or stray paint marks can be cleaned up with a razor blade.

Striped Blue Jar

  1. Using alcohol and a cotton ball clean the glass.
  2. Apply masking tape for the stripes. For this project I used 3 strips of tape to make 2 stripes. One thick stripe of Laguna, and one thinner stripe of Country Grey.
  3. Apply paint to the taped off areas to create your stripes.
  4. Before the paint totally dries, carefully remove the tape.
  5. Stick your selected stencil to the glasses surface. For this project I placed the stencil below the Country Grey stripe to create a cute decorative stripe in Yellow.
  6. Press firmly on the stencil to make sure there are no gaps between the stencil and the glass surface.
  7. Once the stencil is placed, paint it with Yellow.
  8. Before the paint totally dries, carefully remove the stencil.
