Make a terrarium for your head as a last minute Halloween costume!
This project features these great brands:
At a Glance:
2 small paper plates
Moss/greenery
Wooden blank mushrooms (or large wooden beads)
Masking Tape (black would be best)
Headband
Clear Acetate
Hot glue gun w/ glue stick
Cut the raised rim off of two small paper plates.
Paint both sides of each paper plate in black and allow it to dry between sides.
Glue down your moss and greenery on one paper plate.
Paint your wooden mushrooms or beads to look like amanita mushrooms in red, white and beige.
Glue down your mushrooms into the greenery.
Cut your acetate in half and use both pieces to create your terrarium by hot gluing the acetate to the rim of the greery plate. Carefully glue your acetate seams where they meet.
Glue your second plate to the top of the acetate to create the roof.
Tape the rim on the top and bottom where the plates meet the acetate. Paint black.
Hot glue the terrarium onto your headband.
Wear and enjoy!
