  • Old picture frame
  • ¼” Plywood (picture frame will determine the size)
  • Different size dowels
  • Toothpick
  • New pencil eraser
  • Jigsaw
  • Drill
  • Drill bits
  • Computer printout
  • Transfer paper
  • Tracing paper
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Measuring tape
  • Craft glue
  • 2 Drawer handles
  • Wood Filler
  • Sandpaper

instructions

  1. Remove the glass and glass holders from frame.  Remove any staples. 
  2. Fill any holes made by the staples or screws with wood filler.  Allow to dry and then sand.
  3. Paint the frame Licorice. 
  4. Paint the slats with Wicker White.
  5. Transfer pattern on one side of tray and mirror it onto the other side using the same pattern and matching up the center.
  6. Paint the mandala with Licorice using the liner brush, stylus, the end of dowels, toothpick and the end of a new pencil eraser.
  7.  Drill the holes for the handles.  Attach handle to the ends.
