Other Supplies

2"x 6"x 4' pine lumber
Branch from outdoors
Miter saw
Sandpaper
Wood glue

Cut three different sizes of pumpkins with the miter saw. Cut the corners at an angle to round pumpkins off. Sand rough edges.
Paint the small pumpkin Ocean, the middle Maize and the large one Elephant. Allow to dry.
Use the chalk brush to stencil the design on pumpkins. Stencil Plaster on the Elephant, Elephant on the Maize and Maize on the Ocean.
Cut the branch into three different pieces and wood glue to the tops of the pumkins.

Can Waverly Inspirations Chalk colors be mixed to create new colors or different values of the same color?

Yes, you can create custom colors by mixing any number of the Waverly Inspirations Chalk paints together.

Start with the lightest color, adding in darker shades until desired color is achieved.

Do I need to prep my surface before applying Waverly Inspirations Chalk?

The benefit of painting with Waverly Inspirations Chalk is that no prep work such as sanding, stripping or priming is needed.

When painting on previously used furniture, simply clean the surface using a glass cleaner to remove dirt or dust particles. When painting on glass surfaces, make sure to clean surface using rubbing alcohol.

Do I shake or stir Waverly Inspirations Chalk before using?

Stir well to incorporate the paint. Use straight from the bottle or pour a small amount onto a palette.
