1-1/4" Wood letters, Large flat brush, Small flat brush, Wax candle, Assorted buttons, Fabric scrap, Wood beads, Roll of jute - 24", White craft glue, Sandpaper

Instructions

1. Paint the entire plaque Apple Red. Let dry.
2. Rub wax candle on the edges of the plaque, and on the front, in a few places.
3. Repaint the top of the plaque Vintage White and Cinnamon on the edges. Let dry.
4. Sand plaque lightly to create a distressed look allowing Apple Red to show.
5. Paint desired letters Apple Red. Let dry.
6. Glue letters and assorted buttons to the plaque using white craft glue as shown.
7. Use a 24” piece of jute to create hanger. Fold Jute in half and string beads. Tear fabric scraps into 1" strips. Cut 5" pieces and tie to Jute between beads. Glue to the back of the plaque as a hanger.
