How to Use: FolkArt Acrylic Paint
 
FolkArt is a premium artist quality paint. The line of paints features amazing colors in a variety of formulas and finishes to inspire your creativity. FolkArt paints offer superior hide and a creamy consistency for exceptional blending and brushability. The formulas are great for all painting techniques and styles that make it perfect for seasonal, year-round crafting. It can be used on a variety of surfaces including canvas, terra cotta, paper mache, wood, and more. Paints come in an easy to squeeze bottle and are water-based and non toxic. A preferred brand among crafters, painters, and artists, FolkArt is a staple in any art supplies. FolkArt is proudly made in the USA.
 
Surface Prep:
• Canvas: Use gesso-primed canvases or apply gesso to unprimed canvases.
• Wood: Sand and seal before painting.
• Tin or Metal: Wash to remove dirt and wipe with alcohol to remove oil.
• Paper Maché: No preparation needed.
• Glass or Ceramics: FolkArt® paint is not recommended on either of these surfaces.
 
Directions:
Shake well. Apply the first coat with a brush and allow to dry for 1 hour. Apply additional coats until desired coverage is achieved, making sure to dry completely between coats.

Clean Up:
Clean brushes while wet with soap and water.
