Make your July 4th decor stand out with this weathered patriotic utensil holder craft. Add a handmade touch to your table spread with these easy instructions.
Instructions
- Apply stain to inside of boxes and wipe with soft cloth.
- Lay boxes on their sides on the back side of papers and trace with pencil. Cut out pieces and trim to desired shapes as shown.
- Apply Mod Podge® to box surface and place paper. Cover with wax paper and smooth excess glue with squeegee. Repeat process until boxes are covered as desired. Let dry.
- Sand with sandpaper until your surfaces are distressed.
- Apply several coats of matte to seal surface.
- Glue pulley wheels to bottom of one box.
Project Tip: Personalize with tags or directly onto surface with black or colored marker.
