Instructions

“Hello” Canvas Instructions
  1. Create a fun abstract design, where colors abstractly merge or blend into one another with a Flat 3/4" brush, vertically on the canvas.  The paint colors used here are White, Pink Parfait, Caribbean, Purple Iris and Bright Yellow.  It is best to lift your brush carefully when blending into the next color.  You may also find it best to wash and dry your brush well between applying colors.  Be careful not to overstroke which can muddy the colors.  Allow to dry.
  2. Once dry, either stencil or paint a word of welcome, your favorite phrase, or perhaps a name to personalize. We used Black to stencil the word “HELLO”.

Repurposed Lamp Instructions
  1. Choose an Apple Barrel color to match or accent your décor; we chose Caribbean.  Using a 1” foam brush, apply a coat of paint to the lamp base.  Allow to dry.  Reapply a second coat for opaque coverage.  Let dry.
  2. Load a No. 8 Flat brush with White and paint horizontal straight brush marks in a random pattern on the lamp base.

Flower Pot Instructions
  1. Select Apple Barrel colors of your choice and paint over a ceramic flower pot.  Allow to dry and then reapply the base color.  Have fun and create an ombre effect layering one color of another or simply create an opaque one color base.
  2. If desired, decorate the flower pots as desired using a paint brush and an Apple Barrel accent color.
