Instructions

Preparation

Create a raised, covered space to place your surface once you've poured your paint, such as thumbtacks in cardboard or a baker's rack.

Pouring Technique

  1. Layer your Titanium White, Sunny Yellow, Midnight Garden and Magenta pouring mixtures in a cup.
  2. Pour the contents of your cup onto your canvas and tilt/swirl until you reach your desired pattern.
  3. Add your Goldenrod pouring mixture into one squeeze bottle and your Titanium White mixture into another. Squeeze a layered flower pattern onto your canvas with the Goldenrod on the outside and the Titanium White on the inside. Carefully place a piece of string on the Goldenrod part of a flower petal. Pull the string to the center of your flower. Repeat this step with all of your petals.

Drying and Finishing

Place your painted project on the raised surface and allow to dry and cure for 24-48 hours for optimal results. Once dry, seal your project with FolkArt Acrylic Sealer.
