Give your favorite coffee mug a marbled effect with help from Mod Podge Alcohol Inks. This is an easy and fun project for adding color to your morning routine or to make and give as a gift.

Instructions

 
  1. Protect your surface with drop cloth.   
  2. Only use the blues and green in the alcohol ink sets for the first mug.
  3. Use the Galaxy Alcohol Ink Set for the second mug.
  4. Start an inch from the top of the coffee mug.  Hold the mug upright and just begin applying the inks to the mug allowing it to run down the mug.  To add more interest to the mug you can drop some of the isopropyl alcohol onto the inks. 
  5. Continue step 2 until the desired look is achieved.
  6. Wipe the top with the alcohol and then add Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge on top of the inks.  Make sure the Mod Podge is an inch from the top of the coffee mug.
