It is so fun to personalize your craft projects! Display an initial of your last name on a gallery wall or a grouping on your mantel. And the kids love to see a decorated initial in their own bedrooms. This project is simple, fun, elegant and can be created in an afternoon!
Create an ombre effect on the papier mache letter of your choice. We used White, Pink Parfait and Cardinal Crimson. Using a 1” foam brush, begin at the top of the letter painting White and then transition to Pink Parfait working towards Cardinal Crimson at the bottom of the letter. Blend well where two colors meet. Allow to dry.
When dry, pencil a tall daisy flower pattern directly on the painted ombre background. Paint over the pencil lines using a No. 1 Liner brush loaded with thinned Black paint. Let dry.
