Be Kind Floral Sign

Instructions

1. Paint the recess of the surface using Licorice.
2. Paint the raised areas of the surface with Wicker White. Let dry.
3. Using gray transfer paper, transfer the “Be Kind” pattern to the recessed area of the plaque and the flower pattern to the raised areas of the plaque.
4. Using a liner brush, paint “Be Kind” with Treasure Gold. Using the same brush, paint the outline of the flowers with Licorice.
5. Water down Fire Coral and Conch Shell. Use these two mixtures to fill in the petals of the flowers using a small brush. Let dry.
6. Using painters tape, tape off the edges of the recessed area.
7. Protect your workspace and put on the proper PPE according to the information on Plaidonline.com/ModPodgeResin.
8. Mix the Mod Podge Resin according to the instructions on Plaidonline.com/ModPodgeResin.
9. Pour resin into the recessed area of the plaque. Use a torch to remove any air bubbles. Allow to cure for 24 hours before removing the tape.
10. When the first pour is cured, mix more resin and apply a coat to the entire surface of the plaque. Allow to cure for 24 hours.
