Other Things You'll Need

  • Natural wicker trash can
  • Magenta yarn
  • Orange yarn
  • Turquoise yarn
  • Burnt orange yarn
  • Painter's tape
  • Hanging light kit

Instructions

  1. Flip the basket upside down. Tape off the top portion of the basket and paint with Licorice
  2. Dry brush the bottom of the basket with Wicker White. Create a triangle stencil out of painter’s tape. Stencil the triangle to the white section of the basket with Licorice.
  3. Following the instructions for the pom-pom maker, create the different colored pom-poms.
  4. Hot glue the pom-poms to the inside of the bottom rim as shown.
  5. Follow the hanging light kit instructions to attach to the basket.
