Instructions
- Water down Calypso Sky (1:1 ratio) and paint the raised areas of the plaque with this mixture. Let dry.
- Using a small brush, paint the trunk of the tree with Real Brown.
- Bundle 5 cotton swabs together in a rubber band and use them to dab Fire Coral and Wicker White in the areas of the plaque where the leaves would be. Add more Fire Coral for shadows and more Wicker White for highlights. Let dry.
- Using a liner brush, paint the word “bloom” over the leaves. Let dry.
- Protect your workspace and put on the proper PPE according to the information on plaidonline.com/ModPodgeResin.
- Mix Mod Podge Resin according to the instructions on plaidonline.com/ModPodgeResin.
- Pour a coat of resin over the plaque- just enough the recesses of the surface are filled and the raised areas are covered in an even coat as well.
- Use a torch to remove any bubbles.
- Allow to cure for 24 hours.
