Instructions:
1. To begin the crackle process, paint your surface with an even layer of Folkart paint and let dry. This first layer of paint will be the “under coat” that is visible through the cracks of the final project.
2. Once the first coat of paint is completely dry, paint on an even layer of Folkart Crackle Medium. Let the Crackle Medium fully dry.
3. Lastly, paint another layer of Folkart paint over the Crackle Medium layer. This color of paint should be a contrasting color from the first coat of paint. Avoid re-brushing over areas that have already been painted. Overworking the final layer of paint will negatively affect the crackle finish. Allow to dry and crack.
