Other Things You'll Need

  • Plastic ornament bulbs
  • Paper cups
  • Craft sticks
  • Non-stick surface for drying (wax paper, silicone mat, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Follow instructions on Pouring Medium bottle to mix acrylic paint and pouring medium, placing each mixed color (excluding Treasure Gold) in its own cup.
  2. Remove the hangers from the ornaments. Holding the mouth of the ornament in one hand, drizzle the paint mixtures onto the ornament with the other hand. Pour 3-4 colors on each ornament.
  3. Swirl the ornament around until the entire surface is covered and the desired design is achieved.
  4. Place the ornament, balanced on the mouth, on a non-stick surface to dry.
  5. Replace the ornament hangers after the ornaments have dried.
  6. Tape off an area of the ornament. Using a flat brush, paint below the tape with Treasure Gold in Gold. Let dry and apply more coats as needed. Remove the tape.
  7. Hang the ornament to dry.
