Buffalo Plaid Houses
Say hello to the fall season with this collection of buffalo plaid painted houses! Paint with Waverly Inspirations and place these festive houses on your fireplace to add color to any room. Accent with painted mini pumpkins for added color to your harvest decor.

  • 3/4"Masking tape
  • Ruler
  • Small screwdriver

Instructions

  1. Remove hardware from the backs of all houses.  Basecoat the backs of all houses with Plaster.  Paint the roof of houses with Ink.  Allow to dry.
  2. Tape off plaid vertical and horizonal at the same time.  Space tape 3/4" apart.  There should only be squares open to paint.  Use the stencil brush to paint squares Elephant.  Remove tape.
  3. Water down the Elephant to make a wash.  Use one of flat brushes from the variety pack and connect the square by painting a 3/4" line in between each square. 
  4. Tape off a 2" border on the large houses and a 1" border on the smaller houses.  Paint inside border with Plaster.  Allow to dry. 
  5. Tape off around the white centers a 1/8" borders in Ink.
  6. Stencil the F, A, L and L in Peacock.
