  • Wooden flat ornament
  • Twine
  • Respirator
  • Torch
  • Gloves
  • Disposable cups
  • Craft sticks

Instructions

  1.  Basecoat ornaments with Imperial Red.  Allow to dry.
  2. Water down Licorice to make a wash.  Paint vertical stripes with the larger flat brush.
  3. Paint horizontal stripes.  Once dry, go back over the areas where the stripes intersect and make darker.
  4. Paint the words using the liner brush in Wicker White.
  5. Paint the top of the ornament with Treasure Gold.
  6. Go to Plaidonline.com/modpodgeresin for instructions on how to mix resin.  
  7. Pour resin over the ornaments. Use the torch to remove any bubbles in resin.  Allow to dry for 24 hours.
  8. Add twine for hanging.
