This burlap covered bulletin board offers a fancy way to post important notes.
Instructions
- If necessary, remove glass and old picture from frame so you have an open frame.
- Paint frame color of your choice – we chose a Lime Green. When dry you can sand and distress with 80 grit sandpaper, or if your frame has a lot of carved detail like this one did, you can just glaze it to highlight the carving.
- Mix one part Extreme Glitter paint (we chose black) with four parts water and using a very dry brush apply a little at a time to the frame making sure you don’t drip or splatter. Cut a piece of the insulation to the size of the frame(this is a wonderful trick and allows you to inexpensively make any size bulletin board without using cork). Using spray adhesive, apply the burlap and trim to size.
- Insert into frame and attach with wood screws around the back edge. Attach D rings and hanging wire and enjoy!
