Candlesticks and Holly Tags
Spice up basic candlesticks with some color and festive tags! This project is the perfect way to make your centerpiece stand out for your traditional dining table decor this holiday season.

Other Things You'll Need

  • Small wood rounds
  • Twine
  • Holly printed paper
  • Scissors
  • Drill
  • Sandpaper

Instructions

Candlesticks:
  1. Basecoat your candlestick with Antique Green. Then let dry.
  2. Take sandpaper or a sanding block and gently rub the edges to let the surface color peek through.
Holly Tags:
  1. Cut out the holly design from the sheet of paper.
  2. Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to the surface of the wood round. Apply the holly cut-out. Let dry and apply a thin coat of Mod Podge over the paper to seal.
  3. Drill a small hole in the top of the wood round and tie a small piece of twine through to hole.
  4. Use the tag to adorn table center décor or holiday trees.
