Christmas Box
Create a fun holiday centerpiece with two desk drawers for a unique and festive craft idea! Try this DIY to decorate your dining table with Christmas spirit and add charm to your space.

Instructions

  1. Remove hardware from drawers.  Glue the two end of the drawers together with wood glue to make one big box.
  2. Drill a pilot hole and then screw drawers together.
  3. Basecoat with White Adirondack.
  4. Stencil "Merrry Christmas" in Imperial in the center of box as shown in photo.
  5. Pour some Rich Black to a plate.  Dip the flat side of layering block into paint and then remove any excess onto a paper towel.  Lightly glide the block along the box and the edges of the box to achieve distressed look.  Don't be too heavy-handed.  It only takes a little to get the effect.
  6. Once dry add the hardware back.
