Christmas Eve Gift Box
Handmake a variety of colorful projects then put them together into gift box that truly will make someone happy this holiday.

Other Things You'll Need

  • 10x10 wood canvas
  • ¼’ masking tape
  • White Family T-shirts, washed and dry
  • Scissors
  • Wax paper
  • Pencil
  • Desired fabric scraps
  • Small canvas bags
  • 2 ceramic mugs
  • Scissors
  • Christmas napkins
  • Wood Chalkboard sign
  • 8- small wood snowmen
  • Scrap plaid ribbon
  • Masking tape
  • Wood Crate
  • Printed patterns of desired Christmas postage or scrapbook paper of Christmas Santa designs

Instructions

Santa Chalkboard Sign:
  1. Basecoat wood canvas black.  Let dry and apply second coat.
  2. Tape off top as shown.  Refer to video for easy instructions for making buffalo plaid with paint: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CT2yEzyFWia/
  3. Add words as shown with stencil and red.  Let dry.
  4. Rub chalk stick onto black paint and rub off with dry cloth to prep for chalk writing.
Family T-Shirts:
  1. Apply Mod Podge Fabric to fabric scraps and place on wax paper and let dry.
  2. Trace tree pattern using stencil onto Mod Podged fabric and cut out.
  3. Apply trees to t-shirt using Fabric Mod Podge.  Let dry. Stencil stars onto trees as shown with Yellow.
  4. Personalize with stencil and desired paint colors.  Let dry.
Treat Bags:
  1. Stencil designs as shown onto each bag.
  2. Let dry and fill with candy.

Mugs:
  1. Wash and dry mugs.
  2. Separate napkins * most are 3 ply- remove layers, keeping only the top layer with design.
  3. Cut into a strip that will cover bottom of mug as shown.
  4. Brush Mod Podge Dishwasher Safe onto mug and place napkin, smooth down carefully and let dry.
  5. Apply topcoat of Mod Podge and let dry.
Tic Tac Toe:
  1. Basecoat snowmen with white and hats as shown.  Let dry. 
  2. Add faces and buttons with small brush as shown.  Let dry.
  3. Add scarves with ribbon as shown.
  4. Paint frame on chalkboard as shown.  Let dry.  Using tape and white, create game board lines as shown, let dry. 
  5. Paint small patterns and details as shown with white and small round brush.  Let dry.
  6. Splatter board with White.  Let dry.
Crate Mail Box:
  1. Basecoat crate as shown- White outside and Red inside.  Let dry and apply second coat.
  2. Cut out Santa postage designs and apply with Mod Podge as shown.  Let dry.  Seal outside of crate with Mod Podge and let dry.
