Christmas Tree Farm Red Truck

Instructions

1. Red Truck – basecoat the entire body of the truck Apple Red. Shade the truck with a mix of Apple Red plus Licorice.  Highlight the red truck with Pure Orange. Lettering on the door is thinned Licorice.  Fenders, hubcaps/wheels, and running step is painted Classic French Gray and then Treasure Gold Platinum.  Tires and spaces between the hubcaps/wheels are painted Licorice. 
2. Background – Paint a winter scene within the oval of the beaded board.  Paint the sky with layers or washes of Look At Me Blue, Wicker White and Prussian Blue.  Add a forest of trees using Sap Green, Prussian Blue, Lime Green and a few touches of Wicker Whtie.  Create snow in the foreground using Wicker White, Look At Me Blue and touches of Sap Green. 
3. Finishing Touches – Using white craft glue, adhere the truck in place using a few wood pcs as risers.  If desired, attach a few floral greenery picks to represent trees in the back of the truck.  Using a toothbrush, flick thinned Wicker White over the entire winter scene to create a snow day effect. Using a liner brush, add Wicker White piles of snow on the raised portions of the truck, (refer to the photo.)
4. Beaded Edge – Paint the flat of the oval border with Licorice.  Each bead trim is painted Apple Red.
