- Wash the table cloth before painting.
- Find the center of the table cloth and draw a 6” circle. Use something around the house like the lid to a pot for the template. Go over the circle with the Mod Podge. Cut out the circle around the outside of the pencil line.
- Draw a straight line from the center circle to the edge of the table cloth. Go over the line with the Mod Podge. Allow to dry. Cut along one side of the pencil line and then the other side so that the pencil mark is not showing. The Mod Podge keeps the fabric from fraying.
- Tape off ½”around the center circle and along the cut edge made from the center of tree skirt to the edge.
- Use the stencil brush to paint Lime Green. Allow to dry.
- Tape off 2” from the edge going around the bottom of the tree skirt and paint Lime Green. Allow to dry.
- Brush Mod podge onto the back of the fabric pieces. Allow to dry. This will keep the fabric from fraying.
- Transfer the pattern to the fabric and cut out the candy canes.
- Mod Podge candy canes to the skirt. Only brush Mod Podge on the back of the fabric and then place on fabric. Press down evenly. Allow to dry.
- To make the holly leaves cut a 10”piece of burlap ribbon and tie in a knot with the knot in the center.
- Glue the leaves to the candy cane with craft glue. Glue three buttons to each set of leaves.
