Other Things You'll Need

  • Wooden chest of drawers
  • Styrofoam bowls
  • Gold arrow drawer pulls

Instructions

  1. Basecoat sides and top of chest and front of bottom drawer with Irish.
  2. Mix three parts Irish with 1 part White Adirondack in a Styrofoam bowl.
    • TIP: Mix enough so that subsequent drawers will use this base also. Make sure to measure out what constitutes one part so that this measurement stays consistent. Paint second drawer front from the bottom.
  3. Now add one part White Adirondack to the mixed base and paint the third drawer front from the bottom.
  4. Add one part White Adirondack to the paint mixed in step 3 and paint the fourth drawer front from the bottom.
  5. Add one part white Adirondack to the paint mixed in step 4 and paint the fifth drawer front from the bottom.
  6. Add one part White Adirondack to the paint mixed in step 5 and paint the top and final drawer front.
  7. Let paint dry and add drawer pulls.
