DIY Graduation Photo Props
Congrats Grad! You did it! Make these simple graduation photo booth props for your graduation celebration. Your party guests will love taking photos with you using these handmade signs.

Instructions

  1. Use your scissors to cut a large flat piece of cardboard from your cereal/snack box. Print images of your graduation year and a graduation cap. Cut out the images. Trace the images on your cardboard and cut them out.
  2. Cut out a frame shape from your cardboard. Cut out a slightly smaller rectangle that will fit under your frame to glue to the back of your frame.
  3. Paint the raw cardboard side of your graduation year with Limeade. Let dry. Use a small flat brush to paint stripes with Award Blue to add detail. Let dry.
  4. Paint your graduation cap with Cloudless. Let dry. Use award blue to add lines of dimension to your cap. Let dry.
  5. Cut out a small oval shape that’ll act as your grad cap button.
  6. Use hot glue to attach a yarn tassel to your grad cap. See project photo for reference. Paint your button with Award blue and attach it to the top of your string of yarn. See project photo for reference.
  7. Paint your frame with Award Blue. Let dry. Paint the inside rectangle with White. Let dry.
  8. Wrap a piece of cling wrap around your White rectangle and glue the back edges down. Glue the frame on top of the rectangle.
  9. Attach popsicle sticks to your props.
