Turn a basic wooden bowl into a stunning decorative planter with this hand-painted craft.
Instructions
- Tape off the edge of bowl and paint Wicker White.
- Paint four rows of dots with liner brush in the Ink Spot.
- On the last two rows paint lines going straight down to make it appear like the paint is dripping.
- Drill four equally spaced holes with drill.
- Cut four equal lengths of 3/8” twine.
- Tape off one end of the twine and feed though the holes.
- Fold rope and cut a piece of the twine string and tie it around folded rope close to the rim of the bowl. Trim the string.
- Add some glue to one of the rope pieces in the fold.
- Begin wrapping the string around the two pieces of rope. Add glue at the end of the string when finished wrapping and press down to secure.
- Hold all the ropes at the top of each and fold over about a foot.
- Tie string around the top and the bottom of the fold but leave enough at the fold for a loop for hanging.
- Add glue to in between each tied string as shown in photo.
- Wrap string around the ropes same as the single pieces of rope.
