Craft a fun holiday sign using an old door to wish your family and friends a Merry Christmas. Use FolkArt Home Decor Chalk to make your home bright and cheerful all season long with this upcycled craft.
Basecoat the door piece with Imperial. Allow to dry.
Using the pattern provided, transfer "Merry Christmas" to door. Resize if needed in order to fit door. Refer to photo for placement.
Pour some Rich Black to a plate. Dip the flat side of layering block in to paint and then remove any excess onto a paper towel. Lightly glide the block along the door front and the edges of the door to achieve distressed look. Don't be too heavy handed. It only takes a little to get the effect.
