Other Things You'll Need

  • Delta Ceramcoat ® Acrylic Paint - Metallic Copper, 2 oz. #026070202W
  • Wooden candlestick
  • Glass or plastic round clear ornament
  • Small bottle brush tree with small star
  • Chunky gold glitter
  • ¾" dowel
  • Flat ½" paint brush
  • Sandpaper
  • Water basin
  • Paper towels
  • Foam plate
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue

Instructions

  1. Paint the candlestick with a base coat of Black. After dry, paint a coat of Gold over the black. Let dry.
  2. Lightly sand to create a distressed look.
  3. Using the hot glue gun attach the star to the top of the tree and the dowel to the bottom of the tree. Glue the dowel to the top center of the candlestick. Let dry.
  4. Remove the hanger from the ornament. Pour glitter into the ornament enough to cover the base of the tree.
  5. Turn the candlestick upside down and push the tree into the globe.
  6. Tilt right side up and glue around the base of the ornament.
